There are so many email services out there these days that it is a little difficult to choose which one you want to use. There is Hotmail and MSN mail and Yahoo mail and too many others to name. When I decided to start a new email account after I got out of school I had someone invite me to use Gmail which is a division of Google. This was back when you still had to have an invite to get a Gmail account.
Gmail is really cool because it has a chat feature where you can talk to other people who also have Gmail accounts. The other day I was on my Hughes Net and my friend popped up on my chat screen. It was really cool because I live outside of the suburbs of the local city near me and so I don’t get great cell phone reception. This way through Gmail I can let me friends know when I will be online at night and we can chat and talk about the day without having dropped calls or spotty service.
