My mom told me about t1.xo.com and I’m sure glad she did. It’s actually been really great because although hers was a consulting business and mine is a bakery having another small business owner in the family has meant a lot of valuable advice along the way. I love that there are so many ways for me to go about doing any one thing but you know, mom’s always there behind me so I don’t worry too much. I know I’m fully capable to manning this bakery all by myself and the look of things now are telling me that I may have to! But you know, that’s part of the fun – the 20 hour days and the hassles and the shipping mistakes. No one ever told me running my own company was going to be easy but I can already tell that the rewards far outweigh the risks. Though I’m waking up at 4 in the morning to get to the bakery on time I already love it more than that awful cubicle I was in!
